This is a unique opportunity to join a successful and growing sports/fitness marketing agency based in Wokingham. If you are a marketeer AND like health and fitness then this is fantastic opportunity for you!

will need to be able to understand a clients brief and then come up with solutions which will often include the creation of campaigns and their headlines, sub-headers, calls to action, and main body copy for landing pages, websites and more.

The Role

* Proactive and well-planned client and project management

* Building relationships with key clients and working with them day-to-day

* Delivering client updates and regular progress reports using existing templates

* Supporting in the development and delivery of marketing communications strategies for a range of clients

* Writing marketing plans and delivery against these as agreed with the client

* Working against a set of deliverables with the need to prioritise workflows and understand lead times to hit agreed deadlines

* Developing and writing promotional materials, press releases and other audience and channel specific communications

* Developing digital communications and content creation inc. organic social media, paid for social media, AdWords, email comms and websites

* Developing social media messaging, content creation and delivery

* Potential for delivering marketing content for events, including the support of some event management and event logistics

* Communicating with clients to discuss projects / progress and provide updates as part of good practice account / client management

Candidates Attributes

The key attributes we require include:

* A minimum of 3-4 years’ previous experience in a marketing or communications role (can be in-house or agency)

* Examples of clear project / client responsibility and management

* Proficient copywriting skills with an eye for detail, and the skills to write copy appropriate for the chosen channel and audience

* Have experience in either sport, leisure, health or fitness, or be able to demonstrate a passion for the sectors in which we work

* A positive attitude to their work which means they are prepared to occasionally travel and work unsociable hours to ensure projects are successfully completed

* A positive, proactive, can-do attitude to their work and a determination to succeed for the client, the company and themselves

* Experience in originating engaging content and managing the use of this across various social media platforms

* Strong organisational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines

* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written and understand the importance of both good team communication as well as good client communication

* Capable of maintaining and building strong personal relationships with colleagues, clients and suppliers

Remuneration – The salary will depend on the successful candidate but in the region of £36,000 plus a great working environment and bonus.
