Our client is a hugely successful food production company based in Wakefield. This company has seen tremendous growth. They are huge investors in their people they are looking to recruit an ambitious individual to manage production at their busy food production facility.

Reporting to senior management level you will be responsible for the following.

• Managing the production operations capability of the site optimising profitability and minimising operation costs
• Managing a team of direct and indirect reports
• Leading the implementation of the operational strategy, developing, and monitoring KPI’s to manage performance of the production teams
• Championing and driving the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
• In conjunction with Technical Manager ensuring compliance
• Ensuring production processes are optimised and efficiencies maximised
• Coaching, supporting, and developing staff and implementing relevant succession plans

We are looking for a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager or Factory Operations Manager with experience in FMCG, ideally food processing / food production.

We are looking for a production professional who has an engaging leadership style and who champions empowerment and drives engagement and teamwork to deliver exceptional production operational Performance. You should also have a history of identifying and managing improvements throughout the production process.
