Part Time Customer Services Advisor, Social Housing

Location: Letchworth Garden City, North Hertfordshire
Contract Term: Temporary, initially for 3 months
Salary: annual salary of £26,000per year PAYE
Hours: Part time, 20 hours per week between Monday and Friday (flexible)

Greenacre Recruitment is working in partnership with a locally based Housing Association in Letchworth Garden City to source a Customer Service Advisor to carry out a part time role handling all incoming customer contact, including emails, telephone calls and face to face visits.

The role is offered initially on a three-month temporary basis with a potential of a permanent role within the Association being available. The role will entail you fielding enquiries from customers that will relate to any aspect of the Housing Management or Repairs service that the Association offer.

The responsibilities of the role are:
* Accurately recording information on the organisation’s systems in a professional and timely manner.
* Following relevant policies, processes, performance targets and service standards.
* Providing general administrative support.
* Contacting suppliers and contractors via telephone and email.
* Raising repairs orders, scheduling work and processing invoices.

To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate:
* Experience of working within a fast paced administrative environment.
* An ability to work effectively with a variety of colleagues.
* A willingness to adapt to changing environments and expectations.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
* An ability to record data accurately on I.T systems.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
* Experience within a repairs, planning or housing role would be advantageous.
