Our client is an established prestigious education establishment, due to increased workload, our client has instructed Adecco to recruit for ongoing temporary Customer Services Advisors

Hours will be on a rota basis and cover the hours of 4pm to 12am, some weekend work could be offered.

Salary: for this position is £26,000per year, depending on experience.

Your responsibilities as a Customer Services Advisor

• To respond to basic enquiries and support self service functions across the library
• To patrol facilities regularly to maintain a tidy learning environment for all users and support behaviour policies across library spaces e.g. on eating/drinking/noise appropriate.
• To open and close library buildings as required.
• Support building access, responding to issues and liaising with supervisors, University Security staff and the Directorate Duty Manager to escalate as necessary.
• To assist in building evacuation in the event of a fire alarm activation and carry out a day-to-day fire safety monitoring role.
• To sort, retrieve and replace books and journals.
• To maintain the order of the material on the shelves by regular checking and tidying.
• To drive a van between University buildings for operation of our daily book retrieval service or moves of stock and equipment and delivery of paper for the York Print Plus service.

This role would be perfect for a candidate for someone with retail experience looking for to get into office and work, you will have excellent communication skills and possess good attention to detail.
