Salary: £30,000 – £38,400 per year
Our client is a renowned manufacturer based on the outskirts of Derby. Due to ongoing success they have an interesting and varied role available covering marketing and business development.
In this role, you would take responsibility for providing market sector analyses and services to support objectives and international business growth. You will also work with colleagues in sales and technical functions and assist in creating new business opportunities. General duties will entail:
* Managing effective promotional media and digital platforms
* Advertising and PR as required
* Provide updated list of trade fairs, exhibition planning and management
* Organise and ship samples
* Manage sample stock and track samples
* Assist with e-shots/campaigns
* Analyse and provide data for lapsed customers
* Manage and receive enquiries from websites, campaigns, etc
* Produce promotional materials
* Follow competitors, key customers and markets
* Create powerpoint presentations
In order to carry out this role, it is expected that the successful candidate will have relevant experience and have the analytical capability to make decisions. You will also have initiative, be experienced in creating marketing collateral, confident on the phone and have the flexibility to travel on occasion.
