Salary: £78,000 per year
Radar Recruitment are currently working with an exciting business based in London supporting them in their search for a Head of Finance. This is a newly created position at a crucial time for the company as they begin to implement significant growth plans. The company are a market leader within the consumer goods sector and this role provides the perfect opportunity for an individual with exposure to a manufacturing or consumer goods environment. We are actively looking for someone who has worked as a Financial Controller or Head of Finance within a medium sized organisation and has been influential in growing a business. You must have a strong technical foundation yet be able to lead a small team and react with pace in a commercial setting.
Responsibilities:
* Senior stakeholder management – commercial and operations
* Board level reporting
* Financial control and day-to-day management of a small finance team
* Creation of regular financial reports – budgets, forecasts, P&L
* Cash flow management
* System improvements
* Support year end audit
* Timely preparation of balance sheet accounts
* Financial planning and analysis
* Strategic project work for business development
Profile:
* Fully qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
* Prior experience of working in a senior level finance position i.e. Financial Controller or Head of Finance (potentially Finance Director within an SME)
* Manufacturing experience would be desirable
* A strong leader, able to grow and develop an established team
* An ability to challenge at a senior level
* Prior experience in a role that requires business partnering/stakeholder management within operational or commercial teams
* Working knowledge of ERP systems
On Offer:
* Between £78,000 and £75,000 per annum
