My client is an established business and they are looking to strengthen their finance team by recruiting a Senior Finance Business Partner to join the commercial team. You will be partnering with the Commercial Director and Management team to provide financial insight to enable effective commercial decision making, in order to support the delivery of existing KPIs and to identify opportunities for future growth both through leveraging our existing portfolio and customer base and through involvement in business acquisitions.

This is a chance for someone to demonstrate their flexibility and tenacity alongside their ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders with often competing needs.

As Senior Finance Business Partner your role will involve:

• Build a detailed understanding of the P&L, articulating the results and key income drivers to stakeholders in the functional teams across group Businesses.
• Provide modelling support for business cases/investments.
• Evaluate business cases for investment decisions, challenging key assumptions and ensuring compliance with governance processes.
• Evaluate and challenge on the performance of sales, net income and direct costs.
• Produce insightful month end variance analysis to inform upwards reporting to the leadership team.
• Involvement across regional sites based in Northwich, Chesterfield and London.
• Input to the budgeting and forecasting process for the function within the guidelines and timetable;
• Developing and managing robust templates and models for input of budget submissions.
• Review and challenge of submission.
• Ensure alignment of phased budgets with weekly product targets.
• Comply with External reporting requirements
• Ad hoc project support; New business tender
