Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Burnley, North Lancs – 4 on 4 off (2 days 2 nights)

£38,000 plus Overtime

The Company:

This manufacturing company are now seeking to recruit a hardworking and flexible Electrical bias Maintenance Engineer to assist with the maintenance of and care of site operations, ensuring that all the equipment is safe and fit for purpose.

The Candidate:

You will be responsible for ensuring that the electrical equipment / Mechanical, machinery, and power systems are regularly maintained and inspected as part of a team of Maintenance Engineering staff on site. Together you will carry out preventative maintenance, problem-solving, planning, improvements and repairs – ensuring the efficient running of the factory.

Responsibilities:

* Carry out PPM work on machinery, equipment and site services to minimise breakdowns.

* Investigate / root cause analyse breakdowns and carry out repairs quickly and efficiently.

* Electrical / Mechanical installation, plus general repairs and servicing of machinery.

* Respond to breakdowns and doing the necessary repairs efficiently and quickly.

* Maintain records for internal audits, etc.

* Support 5S.

* Maintain a safe working environment.

The ideal candidate will:

* Be Apprentice Trained

* Have experience working within a continuous process manufacturing environment

* Be experienced in project work

* Be experienced in planned and reactive maintenance
