Rotating Shift Pattern (Week 1 – 09.45-18.00, Week 2 – 07.00-15.15)
Salary circa £29,191 – £32,035
Excellent benefits package including 24 Days annual leave (increasing with length of service) + Bank Holidays, and defined Pension contributions between 5-10%
* Some flexibility required to work 06.00-14.00 / 14.00-22.00 as required

Due to continuous growth, they are currently seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a division of the business responsible for the design, development and production of high-quality cooking appliances, microwave ovens and induction hobs. The successful candidate will work within a team environment, supporting manufacturing in increasing productivity, efficiency, OEE, and quality. You will be responsible for ensuring product quality from project start to completion.
Responsibilities:
* To provide first line response for manufacturing equipment breakdowns
* General maintenance and repair of all plant and machinery (both electrical and mechanical) including PLC`s, vision systems, chain drivers, scissor lifts, Fanuc/Universal/Yamaha robots, and belt conveyors.
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance of all equipment and machinery.
* Carry out equipment change overs / putty changes / oil changes etc.
* Carry out projects and installation work as required
* On occasions, may be required to work at height or within enclosed spaces.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
Essential:
* Educated to ONC/HNC level (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.
* Experience of working in a high-volume manufacturing environment within an Electrical Maintenance Technician capacity.
* Demonstrates flexibility in all areas of mechanical, electrical, and general work.
* Able to read electrical technical drawings.
* Experience or Fanuc, Yamaha, and Universal robots.
* Excellent electrical problem-solving skills.
* Practically minded and capable of making own decisions.
* Ability to work alone with minimal supervision.
* Must possess a fundamental understanding of the Health & Safety requirements of a technician.
* High degree of flexibility relating to working hours.
* Self – motivated; able to work on your own initiative as well as within a team environment.
Desirable:
* Siemens and Mitsubishi PLC programming knowledge would be advantageous.
* Forklift truck and IPAF (MEWP) licenses would be desirable.
* Experience of isolation procedures would be beneficial; however, training will be provided.
* Experience of Presses and welding machines would be desirable.
