Senior Electrical & Controls Engineer

Salary: £57,600 – £66,000 per year

An excellent opportunity exists for a Senior Electrical & Controls Engineer to join and work with an experienced engineering team.
The role will involve electrical control and PLC development, utilising AutoCAD Electrical to design panels and electrical schematics for small integrated systems through to large automation machinery.
The Senior Electrical & Controls Engineer will undertake a variety of duties including:
* Design and specify control systems and components for automation systems
* Create electrical schematics and designs including layout diagrams and wiring plans to EU standards
* PLC and controls programming
* Create technical specifications, process flow diagrams and plan control system programming architecture
* Work with the Design and Applications engineers to deliver projects on time
* Co-ordinate suppliers as part of the overall project control
* Help as required with electrical fitting, wiring, build and test of new machines
* Support the integration and commissioning of new systems at customer sites, in the UK and overseas
