Trainee Health & Social Care Assessor

Are you a qualified Apprenticeship/ NVQ/ QCF Assessor?

Do you have experience working in the Health & Social Care industry to management level?

A leading training provider specialising in apprenticeships and work based learning training programmes, are looking for to appoint a Health & Social Care Assessor to join their team covering the Bristol area. The patch will be divided up based on candidates location and you will cover in the region of a 20-30 mile radius of your home.

This role will be responsible for supporting a caseload of 35- 40 learners successfully through their apprenticeship qualifications.

My client prides themselves on being a learner centred, quality focused provider and subsequently have low learner caseloads.

Are you a quality driven Assessor with a passion for teaching and learning? If so, this could be the position for you.
responsibilities will include:

*Visiting learners in the workplace to assess/tutor them in their apprenticeship qualifications
*Maintaining documentation on learners progression
*Delivering learner portfolios to agreed standards
*Carrying out learner reviews and work based assessments
*Complying with all quality assurance processes
*Building and developing relationships with employers and recruiting/ inducing new learners

The ideal candidate will be a qualified assessor with the TAQA, A1 or D32/D33 qualifications. You will need to have a background working in the Health & Social Care sector, ideally to management level. Experience delivering full apprenticeships will be desirable although support will be given if you haven’t previously completed them.

This role is remotely based so you will need excellent organisational skills with the ability to effectively manage your own diary.

Access to a vehicle and a full UK driving license are essential.
