About the opportunity:

We are working as the internal recruitment partner for a well-established organisation who own some of the UK’s most well-known household brand names.

We are presenting an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Health, Safety and Logistics Trainer to join the office in Manchester on a 12-month internship.

As the Logistics Trainer, you will support with the development, delivery, and administration of all training needs across the business whilst ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, Quality and Customer Service standards.

Carrying out detailed performance assessments and identifying training needs across the depots, you will develop and deliver robust, award-winning training to resolve identified issues. Ensuring employees are provided with the correct training to fulfil their roles in a safe and effective manner.

This rare opportunity will allow the successful candidate to gain exposure and knowledge of training within Logistics for the world’s leading manufacturer of domestic appliances. Gaining invaluable experience from colleagues and training courses, this is not an opportunity to be missed.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • A keen willingness to learn and progress within the role.
  • Proven experience within a training role would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience within a multi-drop or warehousing environment would be beneficial.
  • An understanding of legislation regarding EU driving hours and Road Transport (Working Time) Directive would be advantageous.
  • Excellent influencing and communication skills, able to operate with all levels of employees and team members.
  • Experience of using MS Packages and Google Suite.
  • A ‘can do’ attitude and approach to work.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage your own workload.
  • A Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Flexible approach to working hours and location as the role will require occasional working and unsociable hours.
