Graduate Trainee / Junior Quantity Surveyor – Commercial Manager
A leading Electrical Contractor / Contraction Site Services Contractor located in High Wycombe – Bucks, Currently have a rare opportunity to take on a graduate trainee Quantity Surveyor or Junior Quantity Surveyor.
As a company they provide opportunities into management and the position of Senior Quantity Surveyor. You will be interacting with the Top 10 Construction Companies in The UK.
As the successful applicant for the Graduate Trainee / Junior Quantity Surveyor – Commercial Manager
Monitoring of costs; documentation and accounting
Involvement in all aspects of financial and contractual control
Review of commercial contract terms before agreement and to make amendments
Management of works package
Ensure the commercial interests of the company are maintained
Ensure the contractual agreements are adhered to (such as procedures to be followed for authorisation of contractual work, variations, quoted variations and day works)
Ensure the contractual communication is carried out according to contract terms
To qualify for Graduate Trainee Quantity Surveyor / Junior Quantity Surveyor – Commercial Manager
Related degree in construction management or commercial management
Living in commuting distance to High Wycombe
Some experience in contracting would be advantageous£18,000 – £35,000 basic (negotiable on exp.) + benefits
