Branch Manager

Salary: £33,600 – £48,000 per year

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Branch Manager to join a site in Swansea. The successful candidate must be sales driven, a great people person, enjoys being hands on and have the drive to achieve and exceed targets.

You should have previous experience working as a Branch Manager or managerial experience from a similar industry. Product knowledge is beneficial, however, not necessary. You should have very strong and effective management and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the staffing and smooth running of the branch, especially through holidays and sick leave.

* Responsible for the staff, their recruitment, assessment, training, motivation, and team building alongside the Senior Management.

* To achieve / exceed agreed sales, profitability, and efficiency targets, ensuring that customer satisfaction is always paramount & maintained.

* Responsible for all monies received by the branch, until they reach the bank.

* Responsible for all stock held and travelling through the branch. Also ensuring adequate stock levels are always held to satisfy the customer.

* Responsible for ensuring that all deliveries are made within agreed schedules and that customers are kept aware of any deviations.

* Responsible for the branch operation, its housekeeping, racking, equipment and vehicles, and any maintenance and servicing of the above.

* Responsible for all health and safety aspects within the branch, alongside the Regional Manager.

* To recommend and assist in the researching of new products to add to the Company’s portfolio.

* To continually review trading methods, recommending improvements for efficiency and cost effectiveness.

* Attend and contribute to regular Management meetings.

* Provide weekly / monthly reports.

Hours: 49 Hours per week

Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm
Saturday: 8am to 12noon
