Talent, Leadership, Learning and Performance Manager

Department – Human Resources

Locations: Birmingham/London

Salary: £65,000 – £70,000 DOE

Job type: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours, Hybrid working (2 or 3 days from home and the office)

Latham & Bond HR are working with a leading communication provider in the UK. We are supporting the growth of their Learning, Leadership, Talent Diversity & Inclusion team. In this role you will be supporting the Talent, Learning and Performance agenda within the leadership team to drive consistent and best-practice Talent and Performance methods across the function, and support our Leaders to better identify, develop and mobilise people across the organisation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Understand best practice and new thinking in Leadership, learning and talent development.
  • Supporting cyclical delivery of Talent & Performance management processes (education, assessment, reviews, data analysis and partnering with HRBPs and Senior Stakeholders to build out strategies)
  • Working closely with Group CoE teams to ensure alignment with Group frameworks and processes, whilst providing recommendations for improvements
  • Implementing talent development strategies that ensures improve healthy succession pipeline for leadership and critical roles.
  • Work closely with our talent to sponsor and support their personal and career development.
  • Identifying, implementing and measuring the impact of opportunities to drive continuous improvement in our early talent development programmes.
  • Contributing to the design and delivery of Talent & Leadership initiatives/programmes, and embed through HRBPs into the business
  • Owning data management across the performance, talent & Leadership development portfolios and creating easily digestible ways to share key themes, trends and important pieces of information
  • Support our inclusive working environment by ensuring that you treat everyone with whom you interact with mutual respect

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experience of implementing and evaluating performance, leadership and Talent strategies across a global business.
  • Track record of making change happen and delivering at pace: Catalyst for change with a track record in implementing Talent and Performance management approaches
  • Relationship building – Capable of establishing credible, high trust, productive relationships at middle and senior management level
  • Collaborating and influencing: Can work across Technology with experience of influencing and driving results at all levels
  • Experience of stakeholder management and influencing at Senior Management level
  • Coaching senior leadership teams (Preferred)
  • Experience of implementing and using Digital learning and talent solutions (Preferred)
  • Experience of working in a large organisation with complex HR systems and processes
  • Proven experience in implementing Graduate and Apprentice programmes. (preferred)
  • Experience using Success Factors Talent management system (Preferred)
  • Experience using models, frameworks, tools and solutions to increase leadership effectiveness. Including but not limited to; behavioural change, emotional intelligence, change leadership, high performing team effectiveness, coaching and motivating people
