IT Support Engineer

IT Support Engineer based in Uxbridge, West London (Windows/Exchange/AD/Mobile Devices)

We are looking to attract an IT Support Engineer for a 12 month contract to support users in our client’s offices based in the Uxbridge area.

Skills and Experience:
• Experience of supporting the following: Windows 7, Office 2010, Cisco VPN, iPad, iPhones, Blackberries
• Excellent first- and second-line support skills for desktop network issues, printers, IP telephony
• In-depth knowledge of Windows networking and configuration
• Commercial experience of Active Directory domain and Microsoft Exchange Server administration
• Any experience working across multiple locations (especially working with colleagues in International Locations would be very useful)

Role and Responsibilities:
• First point of contact for all internal and locally based colleagues to request assistance
• Provides general technical support for first level technical problems.
• Resolves problems quickly when possible, following established procedures
• Escalates incidents / service requests as appropriate
• Documents problem and resolution
• Works on the installation of standard Microsoft Office software and installing other internal software products using SOPs
• You will ensure that all phases of support, including installations, upgrades, software, hardware, operating systems and configurations are properly coordinated, monitored, tracked and resolved
• Under supervision, makes changes to e-Mail and Active Directory Infrastructure

Start: ASAP – 12 month contract

Rate: £240 – £270 per day
