Our client provides bespoke, research-led chemical manufacturing and recovery solutions to industry. A vacancy currently exists for a QC Analytical Chemist to take responsibility for all quality testing of incoming materials and outgoing products. You will maintain accurate records of all testing and issue Certificates of Analysis for products. You will also be responsible for ensuring laboratory health, safety and environmental (HSE) requirements are met, implementing laboratory Best Practice and maintaining good housekeeping.
Qualifications and experience:
* Minimum HND in Chemistry
* Previous experience in an Analytical Chemist’s role
* Good knowledge of laboratory procedures/equipment
* Experienced in gas chromatography and mass spectroscopy
* Good understanding of laboratory HSE standards.
