Salary: £21.6 – £30 per hour
Analytical Chemist
Our SE based client is actively seeking a skilled Analytical Chemist to perform separations and analyses using a range of chromatography and spectroscopy techniques, notably SFC (Supercritical Fluid Chromatography) for the separation of chiral molecules and other pharmaceutical compounds.
Working as a part of a dedicated, busy and motivated analytical team, the successful candidate will be responsible for instrument set-up and usage, data interpretation, method development / optimization and validation exercises. Other key instrumentation will include LC-MS, GC-MS, DSC and NMR.
This position would suit someone with a good understanding of both chromatography and spectroscopy techniques, together with proven and demonstrable hands on skills gained in a GMP / GLP environment.
To succeed you will hold a BSc / MSc / PhD in Chemistry (or related subject) with previous experience using SFC instrumentation.
