Financial Controller

Financial Controller required for a manufacturing company based south of Bradford. You will have experience dealing will all company finances and providing a high level of financial support to all departments of the business.

This is a new position due to growth, you will be taking over the UK company finances which are currently dealt with overseas.

Financial Controller Package:
Salary £36,000 – £42,000
Pension

Holiday is negotiable

Financial Controller Duties:
Preparation of financial statements regular financial statements and accounts, such as profit and loss accounts.
Constant monitoring of company s financial performance, including business spending, costs and budgets.
Providing colleagues with cost and revenue information
Preparation of profit forecasts and drafting of future budgets
Managing all aspects of Company accounting
Managing wages and salaries –
Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger & Nominal Ledger
Managing weekly cash flow, bank reconciliations, ECSL & Intrastat and VAT returns.
Managing month-end procedures and management accounts using Cognos and Traverse systems.
Managing year-end procedures.

Financial Controller Requirements:
Previous experience in manufacturing is essential
This role will require the person to be involved with the business
They need good ERP skills, certainly a good understanding the flow of information in a MRP environment.
Strong computer skills.
