Financial Controller

Salary: £54,000 – £72,000 per year

We specialise in the recruitment of high-quality candidates in the Accountancy Sector. We have an excellent opportunity for a Financial Controller to join a prestigious international retail company based in Shoreditch, City of Central London.

Financial Controller’s Core Duties (UK, France & Germany)

* I/C RECONCILIATIOIN (issuing sales invoices and cashflow management)

* Using the Exact accounting software for France & Germany

* Prepare VAT reports/returns for Submission by country accountants

* Preparation of all the documents for the Year End for each country

* Handling day to day accounting for each country

* Payroll – PAYE (3 Entities)

* Consultant Commissions (NOVA)

* Revenue and overall income analysis for all the three entities

* Shop and Storage rent reconciliation and analysis for all the three entities

* Liaise with Local Authorities and Accountants

* Inventory bookkeeping (3 Entities)

* Monthly Cashflow report with daily bank balances and updates.

* Monthly P&L reports including Segment, Cash & Balance Reports

* Monthly Sales report

* Sales/Revenue reporting to Shopping Centre Sites

* Revenue and overall income analysis for all the three entities

* Checking and providing the Year End reports

* Preparation of monthly Credit Card statements

Financial Controller’s Key Experience

* 5 years experience in Accounting

* Experience using SAGE 50

* Experience using EXACT

* Advanced Excel skills

* Attention to Detail

* Tenacious and strong work ethic

* A friendly, approachable disposition

* Excellent communication and numeracy

* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
