Land Survey Manager / Sales and Marketing Manager

A new position has arisen with my client in Streatham. They are actively looking for a Survey Manager to join their team with the additional responsibility of sales and marketing.

The person who is suitable for this position has excellent Land Survey skills and is a capable manager. They will also be looking for the opportunity to perform a role incorporating customer contact, overseeing the quotation process and ensuring the marketing is excellent.

Skills required:

• At least 10 years in Topographic Surveying, Measured Building Surveys and Laser Scanning
• The ability to lead a team by example and delegate responsibilities
• Excellent technical knowledge and professional qualifications
• Management of multiple concurrent projects
• Excellent communication skills, liaising efficiently with staff and customers
• Strong decision making and negotiating skills
• Identifying training requirements and implement training programmes
• Overseeing budgets and costings
• Nurturing client relationships
• A good understanding of Health and Safety and procedures
• Reporting and acting on feedback

The role will also require:

• The ability to prepare winning quotes
• Following leads and chasing up on jobs tendered for
• Establishing excellent relationships with existing and new clients
• Ensuring that the company marketing is professional and reflects the professionalism of the organisation
