The Company
My client is one of the largest suppliers of CNC Machine Tool repair and maintenance services in the UK. As a truly national engineering organisation, product innovation, excellent levels of customer service and good people are fundamental to their future success.

The Role
This market leader now seeks to recruit a commercially astute Sales and Marketing Manager, to support their recent rapid growth and manage the development and growth of the sales and marketing team.

The successful applicant will report directly to the Managing Director and shall require working in collaboration with the senior management team. You will be tasked with developing a strong pipeline of new customers and converting leads in to great business. At the same time there is a strong existing customer base to support and grow. A proven track record of success must be clearly demonstrated showing not just success in sales but also strong commercial acumen.

The successful incumbent will also be an instrumental driving force in attempts to further enhance all service revenues throughout their operation by developing an ambitious sales and marketing strategy to support the growth of the business across the UK.

Your Background
A strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales and marketing management, you will bring with you the necessary commercial skills and business flair required to succeed in this demanding and exciting role. Utilising this organisations excellent reputation for providing quality services and their ‘brand leading’ status as a platform, you will foster key relationships with customers, support and motivate your team, and look to develop new revenue streams and increase market share throughout their broad client portfolio and through new business enquiries.

While sales management professionals with experience gained within the Machine Tool market sector would hold significant advantages, applications are welcome from individuals from a wide range of high value electrical / mechanical engineering capital equipment backgrounds and industry sectors. Whatever your background, what will remain key is your ability to demonstrate a successful track record in the growth of a service based operation or organisation, gained within a high value capital equipment environment.

The Benefits
In return for your endeavour, the successful applicant will benefit from ‘first class’ industry recognised remuneration package, including a competitive basic salary from £48,000 – £60,000+ (dependent on experience), bonus scheme, company car, contributory pension scheme and private health cover.
