Salary: £42,000 – £45,600 per year
About Company & Role:
A large facilities maintenance contractor are seeking a working Engineer with Mechanical and Electrical skill sets based within a manufacturing arena undertaking ongoing FM and Production Maintenance.
ATEX and DSEAR knowledge is preferred but must be SIEMENS S7 qualified with option under our training development scheme to do his S8 course, if not already done it.
Must be an experienced Engineer and a problem solver, along with being positive and keen to get things done.
Additional Requirements:
* Exceptional fault finding skills on a wide variety of machinery with or without drawings.
* Conduct continuous improvement and efficiency upgrades on machinery.
* Programme and utilise micro-controllers.
* Able to design and implement electronic circuits.
* Proficient with all MS office products
* Programme and fault diagnosis on PLC systems using Siemens S7, TIA portal and Schneider PLC’s
* Program all major brands of inverters
* Overhaul electrical motors
* Well versed in utilising a range of Instrumetation
* Proficient with Linux based systems
* Proficient with SCADA
* Fault find on CANbus systems.
* Full car license
Qualifications:
HND Electrical Electronic Engineering
Siemens Certified Programmer Level 1
HNC Electrical Electronic Engineering
2391 Inspection And Testing
18th of 17th Edition BS 7671
C&G Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering
NVQ Level 3 Electrical Maintenance
Salary & Benefits:
Salary £42,000 – £45,600 per annum depending on experience per year plus all the other benefits, private medical, pension, holiday etc
