Mechanical Building Service Design Project Engineers

Urgent opportunities for specialist Mechanical Engineering professionals from Building Services backgrounds to work for a multidisciplinary international consultancy in their offices across the South East. The company is a consulting practice offering services across a range of discipline including building and construction, civil engineering and the environment and infrastructure.

Skilled engineering Graduates are required at levels from Engineer to Associate to deliver prestigious projects for this market-leading engineering consultancy.

The company had won several high profile contracts and requires specialist skilled staff to deliver these projects along with the full order book of current projects currently in progress. Working with diverse clients across residential, commercial, retail, leisure, infrastructure and regenerations projects throughout the South East, you will bring expert knowledge in your field and be from a Consultancy background.

Key requirements for Mechanical Engineers include:

• Graduate in Mechanical Engineering (Bsc, Msc, BEng or MEng)
• Working towards or already achieved Chartered Engineer status (CEng) –
• Currently working for a consultancy in Buildings Services on substantial, prestigious projects
• Experienced in working on a range of projects with a variety of clients and environments
• Experience of designing and implementing building services (M&E) projects from scratch
• Developing the design brief including consulting with the client around the specification, simulation and modelling in 3D of mechanical aspects such as:
o HVAC, Fire Controls, Energy
• Project management experience
• Team player
• Enthusiastic attitude and problem-solver

Associates must also bring:

• Chartered Engineer status
• Proven track record in Project Management & Client Liaison
• Business Development skills and experience
• Knowledge of all UK standards and legislation covering Mechanical Building Services
• Knowledge of legal standards regarding lowering carbon emissions and sustainability
