GRADUATE ELECTRICAL ENGINEER / POST-GRADUATE ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

LOCATION: Office based within 15mile radius of Newcastle upon Tyne/Northumberland. Situated in their COVID secure offices, you could be searching for Graduate Electrical Engineer jobs in Northumberland, Newcastle upon Tyne, Hexham, Cramlington, Prudhoe, Ponteland, Gateshead, Tyne & Wear, Durham, Brampton, North East England.

SALARY: £28,800 – £36,000 (doe) plus benefits, incentives, free parking, mobile, annual pay review, bonus, pension scheme, ongoing training, 28 days holiday (inc BH).

HOURS: Mon-Fri, 37.5-hour week. Permanent, Full-Time.

As Electrical Engineer, reporting to the Contracts Manager, your initial objective is to assist with the production of specifications and drawings for large National Infrastructure Security projects for the installation of Fibre Networks, Electrical Circuits, Electronic Detection Systems, CCTV & Access Control or Automated Gate Systems in accordance with the works specification. Ensuring that all risk assessments, method statements, and company management systems/processes are adhered to. This electrical engineering graduate trainee role will be:

* Predominantly office based, with occasional site visits/surveys across the North East / UK.

* Assisting in collecting, analysing, interpreting and summarising data into written reports.

* Developing specifications to ensure all requirements are planned and delivered on time, within budget.

* Liaising with the Design, Installation, Operational and Maintenance teams.

As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will have a good understanding of design specifications and technical drawings, IT Literate, highly organised with a strong attention to detail and excellent written & verbal communication skills.

You will have a relevant electrical engineering Degree or Diploma, possibly a Post Graduate Diploma in Electrical Engineering / MSc in Electrical Engineering having completed a degree in an Electrical Engineering subject such as: Power Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering Science, Wireless Communications, CCTV / Fibre Networks Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering or similar.
