Control System Project Engineers x 2 – Staffordshire
£30-40k + overtime + pension
Samuel Frank Associates require two experienced Control System Project Engineers to join a well-established, growing and successful system integration business in Staffordshire.
The positions require in-depth knowledge of using one or more PLC & SCADA systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley or Mitsubishi). The positions will involve the full project life so applicants who can design/program as well as deliver the full project to the customer will be considered.
Key requirements include;
* Several years experience in the integration of control and automation systems
* Excellent people skills
* Confident ability to handle the latest control & automation products and systems
* In-depth knowledge using one or more PLC & SCADA systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley or Mitsubishi)
* Ability to understand and create control system schematics, architecture and panel layouts
* Good understanding of communication networks – Ethernet, Profibus, Devicenet, ASi etc.
* Automation electrical & control panel design
* Programing and commissioning of PLC software
* Programing and commissioning of variable speed drives in a wide range of applications
* Understanding and ability to configure SCADA systems, WinCC, Intouch, etc.
* Awareness of current factory safety practice and procedures.
The client is looking for talented and experienced automation engineers with backgrounds in service support or projects design and commissioning. The successful hires will be responsible for providing front line service and system design for a wide range of industry sectors. The positions involve problem solving, modifying and specifying end client control systems to exact standards and timescales. Some travel will be required both in the UK and abroad.
The client pays overtime and contributes into a pension scheme.
The positions are based in Staffordshire and are commutable from Stoke, Macclesfield, Winsford, Crewe, Congleton, Stafford, Nantwich, Leek and Sandbach.
