Project Engineer – Body Systems

****PROJECT ENGINEERS NEEDED FOR BODY ENGINEERING****

40 hours per week, contract based, midlands location, £21.6 – £26.6 per hour DOE

Seeking project engineers with proven project management experience to work onsite in the midlands for a leading Automotive OEM, you will be based within the body engineering department and in the production plant. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate to join the automotive scene.

Position Description:
•Project Engineer for Body Engineering forward model programmes

Skills Required: 3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
•1. Proven Project management capability demonstrated by recent delivery on time & budget.
•2. Excellent communications skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels
•3. PC Literacy Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, Word etc

Experience Required:
•Successful history of project management delivery

Experience preferred
•Engineering knowledge of BIW, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements
•CAD Literacy ability to manipulate and interrogate CAD data and use associated visualisation tools.
•Ability to generate CAD data in Catia v5 would be an advantage.
•Significant experience in use of engineering tools FMEA, Six Sigma, problem resolution etc.
•Any person supplied should have a valid UK driving licence and meet the medical requirements
•Working knowledge of project delivery processes GPDS / FPDS / PRINCE2 or similar
•Working knowledge of change management processes
