My client is a high profile London based developer with a 40 year heritage. They have provided desired homes throughout London and the home counties and currently sit at around £300 million turnover per year.
The company are progressive and ambitious with a strong pipeline of developments ranging from apartment blocks to traditional build brownfield and greenfield developments. They are currently looking for an experienced cost planner to join their preconstruction team. They are open minded to either candidates looking to step up to a more senior level or an established senior cost planner with residential knowledge.
About the Role:
My client are currently seeking an exceptional Cost Planner to provide professional cost plans and technical reports in order to help them realise their ambition. You will completing estimates and detailed cost-plans for projects across the Home Counties and London region.
Reporting directly to the Cost Planning and Estimating Director, you’ll take ownership and accountability for multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time. You’ll be responsible for identifying project risks, rewards, and constraints and preparing qualification schedules and risk registers. Candidate Requirements:
My client are ideally seeking someone with 5-10 years’ worth of cost planning and estimating experience with a developer or main contractor. You will have a proven track record of producing detailed cost-plans for low to medium rise housing developments and traditional housing developments. Ideally who will have experience of working across the London and South East region with up to date prices across the supply chain.
About the Benefits and Reward:
Salary will be up to around £60,000 – £108,000 plus a generous car allowance and bonus scheme taking the package in excess of six figures. You will be given the responsibility of managed your own workload and diary and with this will be granted a level of flexible working.
