Salary: £54,000 – £60,000 per year

Ambitious to get to the No. 1 role?

This position has 2 main remits

1. To offer succession planning for the current FM in a few years upon their retirement.
2. To generate standards costs for all products across the range.

The Client & Role | Who Are They?

The recruiting business is an SME manufacturer. The environment is high volume and medium mix. They are a profitable business, albeit without understanding their true cost base.

The Candidate | What Are We Looking For?

We are looking for someone that is able to determine standard costing across the range. The data is available so you won’t have to go hunting, but you will need to be familiar with both labour and capital intensive manufacturing processes. There is no specific requirement to have worked with any particular software.

Part of your will role will be to get involved in other Management Accountant duties in preparation for hand over to the Finance Manager role, so you will be preparing management accounts and providing variance analysis, preparing monthly financial statements etc.
