Salary: £26,000 per year
Bates & Bradshaw are recruiting on behalf of a major Construction & Maintenance company in the Hull area who operate as one of the leading building, repairs, and maintenance contractors. They are presently employing around 500 people and have a turnover of £50 million and they have some ambitious plans in place to grow this again over the coming years.
Skills and Experience
The primary focus of this role, reporting to the Stores Manager, is to expedite materials in accordance with construction projects.
You will be responsible for:
* Ensuring that orders delivered are receipted as per the relevant purchase orders
* Correct storage and identification labelling of stock received is of paramount importance in order that supply to the production lines is not compromised
* PC literacy and particularly a good as you will be using bespoke software
* Good numeracy and communication skills.
* Working with other members of the team, making the operation run smoothly
* Excellent organisational skills
* Experience within a stores environment
