Class 1 MOT Driver / Yard Person

Salary: £13.63 per hour

Class 1 MOT DRIVER / YARD PERSON

£13.63 per hour + O/T rate of £17.04 per hour

(£21-23K per annum)

45 hours per week + optional overtime

We are searching for Motivated, Reliable and Hard-Working Class 1 HGV Driver who also possesses some basic mechanical knowledge. You will be based from our client’s brand-new depot at Burtonwood, Warrington. Your primary responsibility will be to take HGV’s to the MOT Test Centre and back and in periods where you are not on the road you will be responsible for keeping both the Yard and Workshop clean and tidy whilst observing all H&S regulations. As well as this you will also be tasked with minor running repairs to vehicles such as changing bulbs, repairing wiring and replacing wiper blades and so on.

You must only apply if you hold a CLASS 1 (C+E) HGV License and have some mechanical knowledge

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday 07:00 -16:30

Occasional Saturday mornings in busy periods 08:00 – 12:00 at time and a half (£17.04 p/h)

Approx. 5 hours overtime (none compulsory) is available each week at time and a half (£17.04 p/h)
