We have a unique opportunity for a Lettings Coordinator to join our Lettings team in Eastleigh! This is a full time, permanent position that boasts a rewarding salary of £27,740.4 per annum, and a wide range of rewarding benefits such as a company pension and private medical insurance!
Role Purpose
The purpose of the Lettings Coordinator is to deliver a responsive and customer focussed voids and lettings service to all First Wessex customers! The main responsibility of the role is to minimise rent loss and maximise income through the effective coordination and administration of voids and lettings for properties and garages.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the advertising process for the relevant choice based lettings or nomination system ensuring deadlines are met and information is circulated to organisations
Monitor void progress for all relets and new builds to achieve void targets
Co-ordinate viewings, verifications and sign up appointments across the Neighbourhood and Income Teams, and provide relevant supporting paperwork
Actively promote the use of mutual exchanges, ensure registers are easily accessible and actively encourage the use of web-based options such as Homeswapper to customers
Check and set up accurate tenancy records post sign up in a timely manner
Manage the review of the housing waiting list for transfer tenants on an ongoing basis to ensure the list is continually kept up to date
Update relevant websites providing lettings, performance and statistical information for customersKnowledge & Skills
A good general standard of education, including English and Maths
Knowledge of working in a customer focused environment with a high standard of customer care
Computer literate with a working knowledge of IT applications (including Word, Excel and databases). Accurately inputs data and accesses information
Experience in a fast paced administrative role, or similar position
General knowledge of social housing would be ideal but isn’t essential
Full current driving license with access to a vehicleBehaviours
