Stock Controller
The Opportunity:
Monitoring and maintenance of stock accuracy on finished goods in warehouse locations. Controlling stock movements and inventory adjustments in a timely and accurate manner. Support site management team in inventory loss management. Maintaining stock accuracy to ensure customer service level adherence. Maintenance of stock control system to ensure held and obsolete stock are controlled outside supply chain channels.

The Role
* To collaboratively work with the warehouse operation functions ensuring that the warehouse accuracy of finished goods is maintained to 99.5% or greater
* Ensure compliance to the correct stock control standards by routine stock checks of finished goods and by conducting audits. Analysing stock check data with the warehouse operations functions and ensuring stock deviations are investigated and documented.
* Monitor the disposition of NCR Stock, and records associated with disposition
* Establish and maintain recognised reporting and control documentation to ensure Cott stock systems and warehouse systems are in line.
* Prepare and maintain reports on agreed KPI’s
* Perform warehouse stock checks at agreed intervals. Actively support and control the bi-annual company stock checks.
* Completion of project work as specified by management team
* Investigate stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions to reduce/eliminate issues.
* Support and assist in the implementation activities of new warehouse locations.
* Understanding and awareness of stock control standards and systems with competence to manage effectively.
* An effective understanding of warehouse process and the stock movement activity within an FMCG warehouse.
* Ability to provide an education and training resource for all operators in key stock control tasks
* Ability to analyse, interpret and understand data.
* Ability to understand the principles and processes of effective and timely communication/presentation and when/how to apply them in all aspects of the role.
* Stock system (BPCS) knowledge.
* Understands the principles of stock auditing and how to conduct a stock discrepancy investigation.
* Understand how to collect and validate sufficient information on the effectiveness of stock management systems to make recommendations on improvement.
* Understand the importance of accurate stock control and the impact of stock issues on our internal and external customers.

The Candidate:
* High degree of integrity
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Demonstrate good organisational skills
* Internal and external customer care focus
* Experience of Stock control in FMCG Environment
* Ability to demonstrate working under initiative and think things through to solution
* IT literate – Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Site stock system experience (BPCS)

The Benefits:
* annual salary of: £26,000per year
* Full time: Mon – Fri, 8.30am -5pm
* On-site parking
