Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8.30am – 5:30pm / Friday, 8.30am – 4.15pm

Salary: £32,400 – £38,400basic + £3420 car allowance + Generous commission – OTE £45-55K

We are delighted to be working with our wonderful client in Hove in their search for a self-motivated, tenacious Business Development Manager to join their team.

We are looking for somebody who can generate new business leads and opportunities, book and attend customer facing meetings both virtually and face to face and convert new business.

You will be a people person with solid experience in B2B sales and outbound calling. The role would be a mix of home and office working plus field-based requirements across the Southeast of England. A full driving licence is required.

The Role:

Lead generation
Appointment booking
Face to face and virtual prospect meetings
Data analysis and proposal writing
Conversion of new business accounts
Provide a weekly pipeline update

The Person:

Ability to take responsibility and work independently or able to work within a dynamic team
Competent interpersonal and communication skills both face to face and virtually
Sales and negotiation abilities
Organisational time management and prioritisation skills
Forward thinking, driven, energised and motivated with the ability to flex and adapt to changing circumstances and marketplace. Persistent
Very capable on the phone and in meetings
A genuine interest in people
You would have a minimum of 18 months past business to business sales experience and would be able to demonstrate good loyalty to a past employer whilst delivering results
Experience in lead generation
