Domiciliary Care Manager

I am looking for a Registered Manager to set up a brand new domiciliary care agency in Northampton. You will work closely with the Director to provide a friendly, professional service to help people remain living independently in their own home for as long as they need. This is a fantastic opportunity and would suit someone who is up for a challenge.

In this fantastic new role you will:

• Recruit and train a staff team
• Actively participate in the growth and development of the business, through various marketing exercises
• Carry out the initial and ongoing assessments of clients and develop their person centred Care Plans
• Ensure that each client receives care and support which is appropriate to their individual needs
• Ensure compliance with systems, policies and procedures
• Ensure the implementation and compliance of all relevant legislation and regulatory guidance as well as full compliance with CQC legislation
• Ensure that sufficient staff are recruited to meet the service demand and plans for growth

For this post you must have:

• Level 4 or above in Health and Social Care Leadership and Management (or equivalent)
• Experience of undertaking client assessments and creating care plans
• Experience of working with vulnerable people
• At least two years’ experience in a senior management capacity within the previous five years
• Great leadership skills
• Excellent business and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to a client-focussed approach coupled with high service standards
• A full UK driving licence with access to a car
