Registered Manager

Salary: £60,000 per year

This is an exciting opportunity for a Children’s Home Registered Manager to join a child-focussed team who’re striving to create an ‘Outstanding’ home.

The company are a not-for-profit, recently voted best care company to work for in a nationwide award. There is an exceptional senior leadership group backed up by an in-house team of therapists.

This is a 4-bed therapeutic EBD home providing care for young people age 12 & over.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Registered Manager for this Children’s Home in Medway, Kent, you’ll be an expert at:

• Creating a successful Children’s Home that puts the children’s needs first
• Leading, developing and recruiting a dedicated staff team
• Liaising with multi-disciplinary teams, including LAs
• Working with Ofsted and their regulations
• Understanding the regulatory operational framework

IDEAL CANDIDATE

You’ll know you’re the ideal candidate if you can read the above list and say ‘yes, that’s me’, but you’ll also need:

• A minimum of 2 years in a managerial role in a Children’s Home
• Currently working as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager
• A level 5 or working towards a level 5 qualification
• A driving license & access to a car
• A clear DBS, preferably on the update service

For being amazing at your job you’ll receive a salary up to £60,000 per year + bonus, with a company pension, health cashback scheme, employee discount scheme & award winning training & development.
