Registered Manager

Salary: £37,200 – £43,200 per year

Are you an enthusiastic, empathetic and committed Registered Manager who wants to work in a residential home that provides care and support for up to 6 adults with learning disabilities. They would also consider someone who has previous experience as a Registered Manager but has moved away from the care industry or Deputy Manager looking for progression. The main criteria is for a Registered Manager who can make the home their own. The owners believe in the need for people with learning disabilities and/or autism to live meaningful lives that include control, choice, and independence. This service has a Good CQC rating.

Skills and Requirements for the Registered Manager role:

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership of Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Hands on approach
• Team player with an open-door policy
• Understanding of safeguarding people at risk
• Management experience including induction support, appraisals and ensuring ongoing development of staff
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to display empathy and warmth.
