National Sales Executive/Account Manager, Exclusive Products to Major Retailers, Manchester, £35,000 basic + Commission + Executive Company Car + Benefits

This is a unique opportunity that doesn’t come around often. A UK based manufacturer of creative products to major retailers is currently looking for a National Account Executive to join the team. Meeting the demand of major UK retailers this company manufacture within the UK to specific customer needs. Dealing with key accounts the organisation has successfully catered to a broad audience for over ten years.

This is primarily an Account Management position needing an individual who wants to further their already successful career within sales. There is a creative edge to the product and sale so would suit someone who either has an interest in art, fashion or home furnishings. You will be working with some major accounts which have been developed over many years. Understanding the changes in industry will be essential so you must thrive on listening to your customers and acting on the input.

This is NOT an aggressive or pushy sales role and would suit someone who has a very diligent approach to customers and a passion for understand their requirements. The product range is continually changing which in turn offers a fast and exciting environment.

Primarily based at the manufacturing facility you will work closely with design teams, operational staff and senior management. There will be the expectation to visit senior buyers of existing accounts but this will be done methodically and gradually.

This is a long thought out move for the Directors of the company and as a result they will be investing heavily in your training and eventual success.

Preferable backgrounds could include, territory management or area sales on behalf of a manufacturer supplying to retail. Sales of homeware goods, decorative products, furniture, architectural products, art, fashion or other products sold into major retailers. Above all else you must have a passion to help develop, manage and promote a product.
