£48,000 – £50,400 per annum (negotiable)

We are working with a leading, Lexcel accredited, multi-office law firm, who are seeking an experienced HR Manager to head up the HR and recruitment function throughout the business.

This is a multi-site HR management role, travelling to a number of offices throughout Coventry and Warwickshire, so own transport is essential.

The position will involve HR, recruitment, onboarding, training, learning and development, employee relations and engagement, and business support. This is an Associate level position, reporting into the board of directors.

The role will involve:

* Handling the recruitment life cycle from start to finish; writing job adverts, sourcing candidates, interviewing, presenting job offers

* Issuing offer letters and contracts of employment

* Dealing with new starter paperwork – ensuring compliance, checking right to work documentation, conducting qualification checks, and taking out references

* Onboarding of new staff and delivering induction training

* Acting as the first line of contact for all employee HR queries

* Conducting appraisals

* Performance and absence management

* Delivering internal training sessions, organising external training courses, and managing learning and development

* Drafting, monitoring, reviewing, and updating HR policies and procedures

* Providing HR advice and guidance to Department Heads and Directors

* Dealing with employee relations issues

* Dealing with disciplinary matters and grievances

* Collating information for payroll, handling payroll matters, dealing with pay changes etc.

* Processing leaver documentation

Suitable Candidates will have:

* Previous HR management experience, ideally gained working for a Lexcel accredited law firm

* Sound knowledge of employment legislation

* The ability to work with, and influence people at all levels

* CIPD qualification (preferred but not essential)

* Sound all round HR experience including organisational change, TUPE, equality/inclusion, recruitment, onboarding, and performance management

* Experience of working for a Lexcel accredited law firm (preferred but not essential)
