Salary: £20.4 – £21.6 per hour

Construction Industry Project/Site Manager
We are looking for a confident Project/Site Manager to join a small team of professionals to finalise pre-start arrangements and be part of the build. This will be an initial 6 month contract with a view to convert to a permanent position. A competitive salary plus a bonus scheme on successful completion.
About this Role:
Reporting directly to the Directors, you will be responsible for managing trade sub-contractors and all site-based construction activities for your project(s), including programming of works, health and safety, review of method statements, risk assessments, logistics, quality control, coordination meetings, reporting on progress against program, etc, snagging and handover.
This is an excellent opportunity to work and gain experience on a large, fast paced project(s) across the South of England
* Requirements including certificates and qualifications:
The successful candidate will be highly motivated, proactive, demonstrating excellent technical, organisational, man-management, and communication skills.
* Ideally from a trade and/or construction management engineering background with a sharp eye for detail and finishes. You will possess strong planning and problem-solving ability, with a positive, ‘get it right first time’ approach.
* You will need your SMSTS and First Aid qualifications (or appointment will be conditional on obtaining).
* Sound knowledge and use of Microsoft Office software.
* Health & Safety qualifications would be desirable.
* Membership of relevant technical body such as Chartered Institute of Building or Association of Project Managers would be an advantage as would a construction industry relevant degree.
* Candidates must:
* Be eligible to live and work in the UK.
* Have (max 3 points) valid UK driving license.
