Area Sales Manager
The Company Recruiting for Area Sales Manager – Laboratory Equipment and Consumables:
Due to internal promotion, this is a rare opportunity to join a highly regarded global, market leading manufacturing company with an unrivalled heritage. By joining this company, you will be giving yourself a chance to develop your career in technical sales. There will be structured in-house training as well as various routes to progress within the organisation within the UK and internationally. The last 5 incumbents in this role have all progressed to more senior roles within this company.
The Purpose of the Role of Area Sales Manager – Laboratory Equipment and Consumables:
- Selling a wide range of high quality laboratory equipment and specialist gases
- Growing sales within an established customer base of prestigious academic research institutions such as UCL and Imperial College across London and the south east of England
- Managing relationships and increasing sales within major private sector accounts involved in R&D such as engineering, pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare and energy
- Targeting new spending accounts
For the position of Area Sales Manager – Laboratory Equipment and Consumables, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Technical B2B sales experience
- Sales trained and a structured approach
- Ideally degree qualified in a scientific or engineering discipline
- Ambitious and driven to further their career
- Great relationship and account management skills
- Must be well presented, driven, enthusiastic, articulate and personable
- Driving licence

- £78,000basic salary DOE, plus 20% bonus, uncapped
