Business Development Consultant

An opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Consultant looking for the next opportunity at a nationwide vocational training company.
Apprenticeship Schemes are rapidly becoming the chosen method of recruitment for many employers. Not only is it a free method of recruiting the employer can be confident that their apprentice will undertake a tailored training programme to fit with the needs of the business and eliminating potential bad habits from previous employment.

Based in Warrington the successful candidate will be responsible for managing both existing clients and growing the company client base.

The role involves:

*Using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking in order to attract business from existing and new client companies;
*Visiting clients to present the advantages of employing an Apprentice, build and develop relationships;
*Developing a good understanding of client companies, their industry, what they do and their work culture and environment;
*To source and notify at least three vacancies per month through full employer engagement selling the total service to employers.
*To ensure that all learners and employers receive a thorough induction and initial assessment and are presented with all relevant information in line with current policies, procedures and practices.
*Working towards and exceeding targets relating to the number of Apprenticeships placed, £100 per placement after 15 placements a month (Realistic OTE £25 – 30k)
*Completing all necessary paperwork in line with strict compliance regulations
*Completing all necessary training programmes including regular refresher courses.
