The performance sb edgebander is a high volume machine with targets of around 800 – 1000 panels per hour.

Mahros automatic feeder and stacker with a numerical controller.
2 Mahros programmable turntables.
2 Double sided Stefani edgebanders.
The first of which has double hoggers, which are diamond, tipped, rough trimming units, fine trimming units and a grooving unit.
The second has double hoggers and a pre milling unit to prevent any break out on the panels.
It also has trim saws to cut the edging tails and 8 contour units for rounding the corners.
Also fitted is a side groover that has 2 blades 1 is 1.5mm and the other is 6mm, the blade selection is determined by the selected program.
Both machines are fitted with scraping and buffing units.
The software used to control the edgebander is Win Edge although we plan to run
the edgebander using Easy line/supervisor software in the future (which is already installed ).
Most of the machine is automatic including track height, tape guides, pressure rollers, scrapers, trimmers, grooving units, track speeds, tape selection etc…
The turntables have preset values for each panel size, which is automatically changed by program selection.
Each glue station has 6 tape coil holders, which are automatically selected by program type.
Each edgebander has a pc installed, which is constantly connected to the Internet.
We have our own Maintenance department for any mechanical or technical support.
Our expectations of our Operators are a good positive attitude, good communication skills, maintain a high standard of quality and always try to achieve targets, which are set.
An Operator usually has 2 to 3 production operatives working for them and it is up to the Operator to give them specific duties.
