Salary: £36,000 – £38,400 per year

This job is a great opportunity to work within a global company as a PR and Communications Advisor. The job will require a creative and enthusiastic team player to assist across all aspects of Public Relations. This person will be self-motivated, eager to learn and tackle additional responsibilities. Within the role you will assist with local and international exhibition event management support, internal and external communications, cultural relations, branding, seminars, conferences and special events.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES
• External Communications – aid the design and delivery of a variety of industry communications.
• Internal Communications – Deliver and design internal communications, for example; internal publications and events and aligning the current CSR program with internal communications.
• Social Media – Maintain that all social media channels are up-to-date and active, contribute towards the content creation and making sure that Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google+ are all used effectively.
• Print Media – assisting the production of corporate literature and communication materials.
• Digital Media – giving assistance to the creation of external digital media and the maintenance of the corporate website.
• Corporate Branding and Identity – working with other teams to ensure consistent corporate branding is achieved as well as maintaining corporate branding with all internal and external communications.
• Media and Press – making sure all activities such as press announcements and clippings are recorded.
• Events – assist with the research, co-ordination and delivery of company events, seminars, exhibitions, award evenings, trade shows and conferences.
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Bachelor’s degree in any of the following; PR, Communications, Media, Journalism, Marketing, Digital Media or related.
• 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Excellent ability to build close working relationships.
• Very good writing and editing skills.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst being strategic and able to think and communicate dynamically.
• Excellent attention to detail and administrative skills
• Basic HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative suite knowledge would be favourable.
