Payroll and Pensions Manager

A highly successful company with diverse business interests is seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee department. This forward thinking company will accept applications from professional candidates with relevant management experience and the ability to take full responsibility for the entire payroll function.

THE ROLE
– Payroll Manager, full time and permanent
– Have responsibility for timely and accurate processing of payroll from input of hours to year end duties
– Manage SSP, SMP, SPP, P-documents, overtime and deductions
– Process pension schemes, benefits and investigate all payroll related queries
– Work alongside HR whilst managing personnel files and new starters/leavers
– Immediate start available
– Excellent working environment

THE CANDIDATE
– Minimum of 5 years payroll experience in a senior position
– Able to take responsibility for a high volume payroll system
– In depth working knowledge of tax, NI, P-documents, overtime/deductions, SSP/SMP
– Able to undertake year end procedures and manage pension schemes and benefits
– Confidence to look at current procedures and make changes to improve efficiency
– Knowledge to successfully resolve payroll queries and manage own time effectively
– Understanding of current payroll legislations and audit procedures
– Above average IT literacy especially Microsoft Word / Excel
