Governance and Standards Manager

Salary: £229.2 – £248.4 per day

Job Description:

Insight Executive Group are delighted to have partnered with The Seven Force Procurement Team to run a recruitment campaign for several roles, including the rewarding Governance and Standards Manager position.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to manage an interesting and diverse workload while operating with stakeholders across the region. You will be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding and experience of public sector procurement and the ability to the design, develop and implement procurement policies and processes to be used within the wider team. Your expertise will ensure that the wider team are compliant with the Procurement Strategy, Force Policies, Financial Regulations, UK legislation and EU regulations.

You should have experience of administering procurement systems (e-tendering, contract registers, spend analysis tools) and providing management information. The Governance and Standards team are also responsible for administering the Strategic Procurement Governance Board and therefore experience of managing the activities necessary to keep such boards running is key. You will also be required to design and deliver training to improve technical expertise within the function.
