Salary: £28,800 – £31,200 per year

Purpose of the Assistant Governance and Standards Manager Role

Implement the tasks needed to assure the Head of Strategic Procurement, that service level agreements with individual and groups of Forces are being achieved and through monitoring that the policies and the procedures in use in the Seven Force Procurement Services Department, are fit for purpose and are compliant with the Procurement Strategy, Force Policy, Financial Regulations, UK legislation and EU regulations and reporting on internal compliance with those policies and procedures.

Deliver assurance and compliance checks for individual medium to low risk procurements and instances of contract management. Undertake low value sourcing up to £50k in a compliant manner. Be responsible for the efficient operation of the tender portal and ensure all training material is up to date.
