Position: Office Assistant 
Location: Edinburgh, Lothian 
Salary: £26,000per year 

The Role: 
The Office Assistant / Administrator will be responsible for providing financial, clerical and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of RICS in Scotland. You will be responsible for administering the RICS bookshop in Scotland to generate income as per Business Plan and to contribute to the promotion of the room booking service and support the generation of commercial income from this service. 

Responsibilities: 
a) Main point of contact for RICS in Scotland which includes front line call handling. 
b) Ordering and monitoring stationery. 
c) Co-ordination and administration of finance issues for example petty cash and invoices. 
d) Assist the promotion, set up and delivery of the room booking service. 
e) Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external clients. 
f) Management of chairman and Directors diaries. 
g) Flexible approach to working hours which may include early morning / evening cover as necessary. 

Essential Skills / Experience: 
a) Experience of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook. 
b) Experience in an office / customer service environment. 
c) Ability to present corporate identity in a professional manner.
