Our Client is a fast growing speciality Manufacturer and Distributor of raw materials to the UK Pharmaceutical, Fine Chemical, Agrochemical and Veterinary markets.
They are now seeking a Business Manager – Pharmaceutical Ingredients for their Life Science Division. This position will be home based and location within the UK is flexible. The geographical territory is the UK. This position is a full-time permanent role and will report to the Division Manager
Job Purpose
- Create and maintain a profitable and sustainable Business Unit in Pharmaceutical ingredients
- Develop long term business relationships with Key Customers
- Create unique and compelling sales propositions.
- Develop Supplier relationships to ensure a long term positive contribution
Key Responsibilities
Customer Sales
- Develop Key Accounts
- Flawlessly execute Sales and Marketing
- Develop Key Markets
Manufacturer Relationships
- Manufacturers of all key product groups
- Obtain marketing information
- Ensure adequate UK stock
- Communicate with Manufacturers (reports, sales figures, market information, product development)
- Cultivate new Manufacturers
Qualifications and Experience
- Technical education to BSc, HND or equivalent experience
- Seasoned technical sales person conversant in, and knowledgeable of the UK Pharmaceutical Industry for API’s, Excipients and Advanced Intermediates
- Experienced and known to UK companies and customers
- Excellent communicator at all levels
- Understanding pharmaceutical formulation development pipeline
- Business acumen to attract and develop new Manufacturers
- Determination, energy, tenacity, enthusiasm, loyalty
In return, our Client is offering a basic salary of c£60,000per annum (negotiable dependent on experience) plus benefits which include an expensed company car, five weeks holiday, pension, healthcare and a generous bonus scheme
