Product Development Manager – London – £36,000 – £42,000 per annum + excellent benefits
Our client requires a Product Development Manager to play an integral part in the product development process concentrating on products for our clients group – both for our retail and direct to consumer businesses.
Reporting to the Head of Product Development, as the Product Development Manager you will join a team supporting our product development process, liaising with various stakeholders from suppliers, test houses and IP attorneys.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Bringing products to launch at the quickest speed without compromising on quality
* Managing the products’ life cycle.
* Work closely with the Technical and Compliance team to functionally test products and substantiating product claims
* Conduct competitor analysis
* Producing product briefs, and setting critical paths.
* Liaising with various stakeholders from suppliers, test houses, IP attorneys and various internal departments.
Applicants should possess the following skills / experience:
* Experience within product development is essential
* Must be meticulous and passionate about products
* Must be well-organised, and able to multi-task and work to tight deadlines,
* Be a first class communicator.
* A degree in either Business, Product Design or Engineering is an advantage but not essential.
